Strawberries and Cream Overnight Oats 🍓 🥣
Time to prep: 5-10 minutes, store 6-8 hours or overnight
This is my go to meal prep breakfast recipe (especially when I'm driving to my early morning 5:30am classes!). I make up to 5 breakfasts for each day week in advance and it’s SO SO GOOD.
Ingredients:
½ cup of uncooked old fashioned oats (or whatever kind of oats you prefer!)
1 TSP cinnamon
4-5 sliced strawberries or 1/4-1/2 cup frozen berries
½ small carton of Fage greek yogurt OR 1 scoop of protein powder
½ cup water or your favorite milk/milk replacement
1 TBSP Heavy Whipping Cream (optional but this is also makes it super creamy!)
1 TBSP nut butter (optional)
In a small glass tupperware, layer the oats, cinnamon, greek yogurt or protein powder and strawberries. Add in about ½ cup water (or milk/milk replacement) or until the liquid covers most of the ingredients. Mix in the tablespoon of heavy whipping cream until it's thoroughly mixed. Add the scoop of your favorite nut butter or nuts, cover and store in the refrigerator overnight. Grab in the morning for an easy, to-go meal!
Makes 1 Serving, but I recommend making 3-5 go to containers in advance and storing in the fridge for up to one week of meals.
